today I was @ concert and, getting a bit tipsy from the beer, decided to ask the french-speaking merch sales guy why he was french when the band was from italy. in french, the language I've been trying to learn for years now. without much success.
he understood the question and replied, I didn't understand a word. just smiled and said 'ok!' and walked away.
